In today’s modern society many couples are finding it difficult to conceive. Whether that’s because couples are having children later in life, because of societal stressors or due to other unrelated issues, as many as one in nine couples experience fertility issues.
Reproductive reflexology focuses on supporting women throughout their journey to conception.

What is Fertility Reflexology?
For many women the stress and anxiety attached to failing to conceive can be overwhelming. And this can be a factor in their ability to conceive.
Fertility reflexology focuses on support for preconception and infertility by helping women de-stress. Our treatments assist women along their conception journey, helping them to achieve a state of deep relaxation.
This is an amazingly relaxing and nurturing experience, but also an effective one. Reflexology works in a subtle way on a physical and emotional level and is especially beneficial for those experiencing fertility issues.
Research shows that – on average – 50% of clients seeking reflexology for fertility issues find themselves pregnant within six months of commencing treatment.

It’s important to recognise that every woman’s path to conception will be unique, and supporting this journey through fertility reflexology will not be a one-off event.
The number of sessions that form your individual treatment plan will depend on your own personal health circumstances and your reproductive treatment cycle, if applicable. However, we generally recommend the following:
Natural Conception
4x weekly sessions initially
2x per month, one prior to ovulation, one after ovulation
Assisted Reproduction
4x weekly sessions initially
1x session during artificial hormone stimulation
1x session in the week leading up to egg retrieval
1x session just after egg retrieval
1x session prior to an embryo transfer
1x session after an embryo transfer
1-2x sessions during the two week wait period
Our goal is to provide help to conceive naturally or with assisted reproduction in an environment that is warm and supportive.
What is Maternity Reflexology
For a woman, pregnancy is a life changing event and one that can have an impact on your physical and emotional state. From the early stages of morning sickness to birth, reflexology can support you through the physical, mental and emotional changes that you may experience.
Maternity Reflexology is a safe and practical therapy for pregnant women. It is deeply relaxing, excellent at maintaining hormonal balance during the rapid changes of pregnancy and can aid in ensuring you have a healthier pregnancy creating the best conditions possible for your baby to grow and develop.

The number of sessions that form your individual treatment plan will depend on your own personal health circumstances and your unique maternity needs. However, we generally recommend:
• Monthly sessions up to 28 weeks
• Fortnightly sessions up to 36 weeks
• Weekly sessions up to 40 weeks

For our maternity clients, we also offer labour priming reflexology treatments.
This preparatory treatment will help you be ready and open to the labour experience.
During the treatment reflex points are strongly stimulated with the intention of creating a boost of energy and encourage the onset of labour contractions.
This is particularly effective for women who are post-term and want to naturally stimulate the labour process. One or two treatments may be required. Please note : labour priming services are only available to existing clients who have reached full term and have attended at least 4 reflexology sessions during their pregnancy.
